Theatrical - audio - visual installation: Home

Home is an original modern Greek work in theatrical audiovisual installation form, co-created by four young Greek artists. The creators collaborated harmoniously so as to design a proposal that explores the platform of theatre as well as forms of expression through the use of new technological media.  It is a hybrid production that connects theatrical text to sound, lighting and the digital arts.  In order to create the work an artistic “relay” was set up, according to which the theatrical text audio was recorded, the recording became an audio work, and the audio work turned into a light and motion graphics installation - all coexisting dynamically, creating a synchronised result.
The audience member enters a specially designed space wearing wireless headphones (the sound has been designed for this medium), and then becomes part of an audiovisual theatrical event that unfolds with them at the epicentre. The work is reproduced digitally making its repeated screening possible (1 performance per hour) for many audience viewers.
