ALL ‘ROUND SEXTET: MUSICAL TRANSFORMATIONS

Jazz, Funk, Ragtime, Blues, Classic, Fusion, Latin, as well as oriental music (from Turkey, Armenia and Tunesia) intertwine to create a unique tapestry of sound. A vibrant, boundary-crossing musical journey featuring two pianos, an oud, drums and a double bass unfolds under the summer moon.
The repertoire ranges from E. Fitzgerald and B. Holliday to D. Grusin, B. Joel and the seven-time Grammy recipient Jacob Collier.
Singer Gina Foteinopoulou joins the ensemble, performing jazz pieces from classic American musicals, as well as pop-funk songs.
Two distinct pianists—Anastasios Pappas and Christos Papageorgiou—come together, driven by their shared love for diverse musical styles. They are joined by two acclaimed musicians: Vilen Karapetyan on double bass and Serafeim Bellos on drums. The internationally renowned oudist Alekos Vretos also performs with the ensemble.
