Rihab Seghaier

Rihab Seghaier was born on 17th of April in 1982. She is considered as one of the most prestigious and acclaimed artists of Tunisia with significant concert presence both within and across boarders.
She has participated in the Festival de Carthage (2005), in Fête de la “Rachidia” Festival de Carthage (2006) and in the Festival International de Carthage (2007 - Fête de la Republique). She has even participated in the L’Orchestre Méditerranéen led by maestro Kamel Ferjani in the Festival International de Carthage (2008), in the music event «Nafahat Soufia» in Théatre International de Carthage under Dr. Mohamed El Garfi (2009).
Her multidimensional music activity is demonstrated by the fact that she is a member of various music ensembles such as the Troupe de la Ville de Tunis, Troupe de la Rachidia, L’Orchestre Méditerranéen and Troupe National de la Musique. Many are also her participations in musical events in foreign countries with most significant presence in 2003 in the international channel “New TV” in where she was awarded with the gold award for the best music creation. In 2005, she was in France with the choir La goute d’or under the guidance of Professor Louise Marty. The very same year was chosen from the Ministry of Culture as an ambassador of Tunisian music for the conference of religious song in Turkey. Equally important is her appearance in the operetta “Wassla” in Germany.
