Part 2
M. Thoidou - Ε. Lopez: The portrait of the woman that looks like me
Two multitalented musicians will meet for the first time as a duet, experimenting with their songs and compositions, combined with improvisations. “
The portrait of the woman that looks like me” is part of the last lyric of a song that was inspired from a medieval hurdy-gurdy. The portrait is a picture of us. What is more real? Us, the way we think we are, or that which describes us? A journey through the fantastic and the earthly, the predictable and the unforeseen.
Maria Thoidou composition, vocals
Efren Lopez composition, hurdy-gurdy
