Madama Butterfly, presented for the first time as a Live in HD broadcast, with the breathtaking production of Anthony Minghella in 2006. Roberto Alagna performs as Pinkerton, the selfish naval officer who breaks Butterfly's heart. Maestro Karel Mark Chichon makes his debut, conducting interpreters that include Maria Zifchak as Suzuki and Dwayne Croft as Sharpless.
