STATHIS ANNINOS: SOLO PIANO - OPENNESS

The pianist Stathis Anninos invites us to Openness. A performance for solo piano where the fullness of sound as well as the feeling of freedom that it offers reveal the personal “openness” of the virtuoso musician. Select compositions by Anninos appear next to bold adaptations of some of the most popular pieces by classical and jazz composers, such as Bach, Purcell, Satie, Mehldau and Corea. Alongside this, Anninos also adapts some favourite songs by Hadjidakis, Savvopoulos, Νirvana, Radiohead and Pink Floyd, creating through improvisation a “live” relationship with the moment and with the audience.
