Lida Varvarousi

She was born in Athens where she studied painting and singing. She also had studies in Vakalo school of Art & Design. Since she was a child has a vivid, never ending passion for books.
She has illustrated over 200 books and she has written 17 children’s books that have been bublished in Greece and abroad. She received awards for her illustrations, many of which are widely known in Greece. She is now nominated from IBBY-Hellas for the Andersen Award 2016 in Illustration!
