Maciej Mlodawski

Cello
Principal cello of the Wrocław Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra. A graduate of the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw where he studied under Prof. Tomasz Strahl and Andrzej Bauer. He also studied at the Hochschule fur Musik in Augsburg under Julius Berger and Sebastian Hess. He developed his skills attending master-classes given by Miloš Sadlo, Victoria Yagling, Claus Riechardt, Kazimierz Michalik, Stanislaw Firlej, Andrzej Orkisz and Johannes Goritzki and chamber music seminars under Roman Totenberg, Christiane Edinger, Piotr Reichert, Jerzy Marchwinski, Maja Nosowska, Krystyna Borucinska, Paul Gulda and members of the Silesian Quartet. He holds awards from the Dezyderiusz Danczowski Cello Competition in Poznan and the Chamber Music Competition in Lodz and participates in master classes held among others in Lancut, at the Ensemble International Chamber Music Festival as well as the Holland Music Sessions Summer Academy in Bergen. As a soloist he has performed with the Wroclaw Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Jacek Kaspszyk, also playing in the Netherlands, Germany, Czech Republic, Austria and Italy.
