Giancarlo De Lorenzo

Conductor
Principal Conductor of the Orchestra Vox Aurae of Brescia since 1992, in 2003 he was appointed Artistic Director and Principal Conductor of the Orchestra of the Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza, a position he held until December 2011.
He has collaborated with soloists such as Uriol, Bacchetti, Krylov, Klein, Engerer,  Entremont, Rudy, Virsaladze, Mintz, Ughi, Amoyal, Galliano, Hiromi, Bahrami, Maisky and many others.
He has conducted Italian and foreign orchestras: Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto, I Pomeriggi Musicali, Orchestra Filarmonica Italiana, Istituzione Sinfonica Abruzzese, Magdeburg Philharmonie, Mainzer Kammerorchester, Orchestra Sinfonica of Wroclaw, Orchestra Sinfonica of Kiev, Orchestra of the S. In 2009 he has conducted the Orchestra Sinfonica Abruzzese at  La Scala Theater and in 2012 he has been invited by the Santander Festival with the Bilbao Symphony Orchestra.
He has conducted opera productions: Mozart Nozze di Figaro, Verdi Rigoletto, Pergolesi La Serva Padrona, Rossini Il Signor Bruschino, Paisiello Il Barbiere di Siviglia.
For many years, he has been invited to conduct orchestras in Spain. In March 2006 he has conducted the Orchestra of the Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza in New York at the Carnegie Hall.
He is Artistic Director of Sanremo Symphony Orchestra & Spazio Sinfonico in Brescia, principal conductor of the Orchestra Filarmonica Italiana and the Orchestra Sinfonica of Grosseto.
