Spryos Kleissas

Spyros Kleissas was born in Athens in 1976.  He graduated from Lycee Leonteios in 1994 and studied architecture at the Athens Polytechnic University.
He began his involvement with music at the age of eight studying violin in the National Auditorium under professor D. Semsis. He finished his studies in Higher Theory under professor I. Avgerinos. He was a member of professional choirs.
In 1999 he worked with Mimis Plessas for the first time. In 2000 he sung in the concert honouring Plessas’ 50 years in music at the Megaro Mousikis in Athens. Eversince he has been working with the composer in concerts at the Herodeion Theater, the Tchaikovsky Theatre in Moscow and many others in Greece and in Cyprus.
He has also worked with Stefanos Korkolis as a performer in concerts, and he has also played violin in the studio album ‘Anemoptero’ and in Mimis Plessas’ album I Psihi toy Pianou. He has also performed with Giorgos Hatzinasios. In 2012 he played at the Megaro Mousikis in Athens in the presentation of the albums O Dromos and Mila Mou Gia Lefteria.
