The voice of Macedonia, the Greek Doric voice. Five decades of contribution to the Greek song. Her morals and her humility are the continuity of her sweet voice. In her long term singing service, always presents and promotes the Greek tradition, both domestic and abroad. She has traveled worldwide and she has won awards in international festivals.
Gold Award (Balkaniad) in Sofia and European Award in Dijon (France). Superior intellectual distinction from the Academy of Greek Language and Culture of the EU. She received, in late 2000, an award from the Academy of Athens where she is an honorary member.
She is a collaborator at the Foundation of Research & Technology – Hellas (FORTH), University of Crete where she recorded and produced a double CD album with the title Songs and Rythms of Macedonia.
When she performs, she sanctifies the notes, without the vanity of stars and the vulgarity of the transaction.
