Eylem Demirhan Duru

Soprano
Dr. Eylem Demirhan Duru began her education in Çukurova University and completed in Opera Main Art Branch and Voice Department in HacettepeUniversity for afterwards she transferred to. She continued her studies with Dr. Klavdia Atanassova and Prof. Tchavdar Hadjiev and between 2000 and 2002 she studied with Dr. Mustafa Yurdakul. In 2002 she was accepted to keep her studies in Universitet der Künste Berlin where she completed her Master Degree with Prof. Anke Eggers. She was granted by Paul Hindemith Foundation.
In 2003 she won Belgium Vlandereen Opera Studio and also she won award in Rheinsberg Voice Contest and played the role of Pamina in Opera W. Amadeus Mozart in The Magic Flute held in Rheinsberg Kammeropera in Germany.
In 2004 she took part as bass performer in Christmas Cantata that composed and conducted by R. Bethke and also she played the role of Pamina in Opera W. Amadeus Mozart in The Magic Flute held in Beseto Opera in Korea.
In 2005 she worked in CyprusEasternMediterraneanUniversity as a Teacher. 2006 she had to back Turkey again because of her education. She was accepted to keep her studies in Bilkent University Music Institute where she completed her Doctorate Program with Prof. Pekin Kırgız. Between 2006 - 2008 she worked in BilkentUniversity and BaşkentUniversity as a Teacher. 2009 she completed her Doctorate Program and she is still working in İzmirState Opera and Ballet.
