Lightings
Holding a Masters degree in Lighting designing & Performance / Choreography from N.Y.U. (1987 – 1990) she has worked as a free lance lighting designer in several theater venues of New York until 1992 when she moved back to Greece.
She has designed the lighting for more than 350 performances, theaters, music, dance opera and art installations in Greece and abroad for which she has got great reviews and has been awarded prizes and honors for her work.
Since 2001 she is working in the field of Architectural Lighting design as well.
She is a professor of Theater Lighting Design at the Theater department of the School of Fine Arts of the Aristotle University of Thessalonica.
A significant moment of her career has been her collaboration at the Athens 2004 Olympic Games opening and closing ceremonies, as a lighting designer and lighting director, for which she was awarded the International EMMY Award for Outstanding Lighting direction at the 57th ceremony of EMMY awards. (Sept. 2005).
