Lydia Kokoria

Flute
Born in Thessaloniki. She started her studies on recorder with Kosmas Papadopoulos. In 1986 she joined the class of Gil Gourdier-Leroy and aqcuired her degree and diploma on recorder.
During the time 1993-1995 she studied on recorder with Frederic DeRoos in Conservatoire Royale De Musique Des Bruxelles, Belgium.
In 1996 she started learning the oblique flute in Ilie Macoveisto’s class in the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki. In 2001 she moved on to Nikolou Dimolopoulou’s class still in State Conservatory of Thessaloniki, in whose class, she completed her studies with the acquisition of her diploma in 2004.
She is member of the ‘Femme D’art’ and ‘Flaudi Quattro’ groups, which along with others, organise the national flute seminar in Chalkidiki.
She has taken part in city orchestras (Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra since 2005, Youth Concert Symphony Orchestra of Kalamaria since 2004). Since 1995 she has been working as a recorder teacher and theoretics, in Conservatories in Thessaloniki and province.
