Odysseas Grammatikakis was born and grew up in Heraklion of Crete. He studied classic guitar with Miltiades Paschalidis, Notis Mavroudis, Yiannis Ligerakis and Manolis Vrontinos, and at the same time he studied linguistics at the University of Crete. As a student he collaborated with the singer Manolis Papadakis. Since 2004 he is interested in electronic composition, sound design, experimental music and video art. He also writes poetry and lyrics. In 2010 he completed his first personal work, the Crazy Air-Balloon (Xefreno Aerostato). He has participated in a series of performances all over Greece. In Conversations with Light he had the honor to work with important artists such as Sotiris Hatzakis, Yiorgos Kaloudis, David Lynch, Yiotis Kiourtsoglou, Lila Sotiriou and Lydia Fotopoulou.
