The violinist Lisa Batiashvili, one of today’s leading soloists, appears at the Thessaloniki Concert Hall along with her collaborator, the young and exceptionally gifted pianist Giorgi Gigashvili. The programme features some of the most expressive works for violin and piano, including sonatas by Beethoven, Bartók and Franck. The duo also presents, in Greek premiere, a work by Joseph Bardanashvili, a renowned Georgian composer and compatriot of the two artists, whose music they have successfully performed on major international stages.
