AUTHORS OF THE WORLD TRAVEL TO THE CONCERT HALL: NATASHA BROWN

Organizer: THESSALONIKI CONCERT HALL
Among the most prominent emerging voices in British literature, Natasha Brown gained immediate recognition with her debut novel, Assembly, (London Writers Award, 2019). In 2023, she was included in the prestigious Granta list of “Best of Young British Novelists,” compiled every ten years and widely regarded as a benchmark of the British literary landscape. With her second book, Universality, she confirmed these early expectations, showcasing her sharp satirical voice and earning a place on the 2025 Booker Prize longlist.
With incisive language and a perceptive eye, Brown’s works explore issues of race, class and identity against the backdrop of the diversity and contradictions of contemporary Western societies—while keeping her gaze firmly fixed on the future, on new perspectives and renewed hope.
She will be in conversation with documentarian and journalist Maria Louka.

The event will be interpreted into Greek and Greek Sign Language.
