N. XANTHOULIS - Μ. GRAMMATIKAKI: IN YOUR OWN SHOES

WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE PILOT PROGRAMME “ART ON PRESCRIPTION” OF THE HELLENIC MINISTRY OF CULTURE, INCLUDED IN THE NATIONAL RECOVERY AND RESILIENCE PLAN “GREECE 2.0” AND IS FUNDED BY THE EUROPEAN UNION – NEXTGENERATION EU
The allegorical musical fairy tale In Your Own Shoes, by Nikolaos Xanthoulis and Marivita Grammatikaki, continues its journey at the Thessaloniki Concert Hall, within the framework of the pilot programme “Art on Prescription” of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture, which integrates art and culture as tools for mental health care and therapy.
Created with love, sensitivity and empathy specifically for the beneficiaries of the programme, the work—blending elements of musical theatre and opera—was developed through workshops held at the Thessaloniki Concert Hall (choral singing, set design and movement), under the guidance of professionals from the fields of the arts and mental health.
The production presented on the Concert Hall stage is the valuable outcome of these workshops: a celebration of music that demonstrates the transformative therapeutic power of art for the human soul, supported by measurable research findings.
Join us on this unique stage experience. Become fellow travelers on a journey of inclusion, symbolic search for our true selves and the right to live our own truth—wearing our own shoes.
The project “Pilot Actions of Art on Prescriptionis included in the National Recovery and Resilience Plan “Greece 2.0” and is funded by the European Union – NextGeneration EU.
