NEW WAVE – IMPROVISATIONS

Savina Yannatou, Vassilis Rakopoulos and their collaborators, with a deep appreciation for the composers and repertoire of the Greek New Wave movement, bring to life beloved songs by Arleta, as well as compositions by Giannis Spanos, Dionysis Savvopoulos and other composers, alongside traditional songs close to their hearts, through a sensitive and contemporary improvisational approach.
The expressive and inventive piano of Takis Farazis, the rich guitar sound of Vassilis Rakopoulos and the ethereal tone of the trumpet of Andreas Polyzogopoulos create moments of striking lyricism, subtly framing the refined and deeply musical vocal artistry of Savina Yannatou.
