N. XANTHOULIS - Μ. GRAMMATIKAKI: IN YOUR OWN SHOES

Organizer: THESSALONIKI CONCERT HALL
The Thessaloniki Concert Hall presents the allegorical musical fairy tale The Other's Shoes, within the framework of the project "Pilot Actions for Cultural Prescription" of the Ministry of Culture, integrated into the National Recovery and Resilience Plan "GREECE 2.0".
The new stage work by the beloved composer Nikos Xanthoulis and the talented librettist Marivita Grammatikaki was created with love, sensitivity and empathy, especially for the beneficiaries of the Pilot Actions for Cultural Prescription program. Professionals from the fields of Art and Mental Health, together with our fellow citizens with mental sensitivity, collaborate for the first time in a common celebration of music, a celebration of Art. The catalytic power of Art, through the form of the musical fairy tale, proves its therapeutic dimension for the human soul, confirmed and with measurable research results. Thus, the way is opened for the substantial beginning of Cultural Prescription in our country. Come, let us all become fellow travellers in this unique stage experience. Let us participate in the journey of inclusion, of the symbolic search for our true self and our right to live our own truth, wearing The Shoes of the Other.
