The evening brings together new and older compositions by the band, constituting the first stop on a journey of intercultural connection with Berlin, where classical heritage converses with contemporary artistic expression.
The opening speech by Professor Andreas Michalopoulos of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, highlights the contribution of Ypogeia Revmata as one of the most important continuers of this tradition. Their work is a creative reinterpretation, which illuminates new aspects of the poems and brings them closer to the modern audience. Through music, poems acquire a new life, while at the same time maintaining their essence and roots, offering a unique experience to the audience.
