In the context of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, the Interdisciplinary Center for Aristotelian Studies of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki is organizing the 4th Lecture Series with the general title: “Aristotle Today” and thematic: “Political and Moral Philosophy, Education, Sciences, Artificial Intelligence”.
The lecture series, which began in 2018, hosts distinguished philosophers and scientists from Greece and abroad every year, highlighting the continuous presence and influence of Aristotelian thought in contemporary philosophical and scientific developments.
The main goal of the organization is to highlight the timelessness and relevance of Aristotle’s work through an interdisciplinary approach. The aim is to demonstrate how the teaching of the emblematic philosopher, in a wide range of thematic fields, can function as a source of inspiration and a valuable guide for understanding and addressing critical challenges of the modern world.
