COMPOSITION COMPETITION AND CONCERT / COMPOSITION WORKSHOP

The Composition Competition and Concert / Composition Workshop is organized in collaboration with the Summer Music Performance Program at ACT/ A Division of Anatolia College. The program offers young, talented composition students from around the world the opportunity to compose an orchestral piece and closely engage with distinguished instructors and the orchestra conductor, who will provide guidance to help them finalize their compositions. Throughout the program, participants will engage in discussions and analyses of key aspects of creative thinking, including the organization of pitch material, methods for processing and expanding music ideas, the structure of sound masses, the organization and management of timbre and the application of instrumental techniques. 
The concert will conclude with the awarding of three composition prizes.
