'GREEK NIGHT' - A TRIBUTE TO NIKOS ASTRINIDIS

Organizer: T.C.H. IN COLLABORATION WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF MUSIC SCIENCE & ART OF UNIVERSITY OF MACEDONIA & FRIENDS OF NIKOS ASTRINIDIS ASSOCIATION

In accordance with the recent regulations, spectators are required to present:
i)  a vaccination certificate issued by a certified authority or
ii) certificate of recovery from the SARS-CoV-2 virus infection issued by a public authority or a certified laboratory

In addition they should show:
either their ID or driver's license or passport or other any other proof of identity so as to carry out identity checks

All spectators are required to wear face masks throughout their stay in the Thessaloniki Concert Hall

The Thessaloniki Concert Hall and the Department of Music Science and Art of the University of Macedonia honour the 100th anniversary of Nikos Astrinidis’ birth by presenting a selection of chamber music works by this legendary composer, conductor, pianist and educator.
The concert programme includes the works: Cypriot Rhapsody (piano solo), Danse Antillaise (for 4 hands), Deux pièces en style Grec (for violin and piano) the song cycle Greek Nights (for two female voices and piano), extracts from the cycle O Erotas ki o Thanatos mesa stin koupa tou krasiou (for voice and instrumental ensemble) songs for soprano and piano, Hellenic Concerto-Rhapsody (for violin and piano).
