8th CONTEMPORARY MUSIC LAB

The 8th Contemporary Music Lab has been an institution of cooperation between Thessaloniki Concert Hall and the School of Music Studies of the A.U.TH. for a decade. This enterprise promotes the work of Greece’s young composers, mainly those from northern Greece, and provides younger musicians with a chance to reflect upon stylistic and post-modernist questions.
In the end, it is tangible support by the TCH to the effort being made by every young music creator in Greece to establish themselves.  Mainly, of a country that does not know what it is looking for culturally, and which is on the cusp of shallow and one-sided options. 
However, that which is new requires powerful and talented individuals in order to guarantee the future!
