The new Musical Director of the Met Yannick Nézet-Séguin conducts Verdi’s timeless tragedy, La Traviata. Produced by Michael Mayer, this new production unfolds in a dazzling 18th century set that changes according to the season. Diana Damrau is the condemned heroine Violetta, opposite Juan Diego Flórez in the role of her lover, Alfredo, and Quinn Kelsey in the role of Alfredo’s protective father, Giorgio Germont.
