Ma Lianqing

He is a first-grade stage designer, a member of the Chinese Society of Stage Art, an expert for the senior professional title evaluation of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and currently serves as the chief stage designer of the China National Opera House. His stage design works have won numerous awards, including the "Five-One Project" Award from the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, the "Wenhua Grand Prize" from the Ministry of Culture, the "National Stage Art Elite Project Award," the "Outstanding Work Gold Award" at the China Drama Festival, and the "Outstanding Opera Gold Award" at the First China Opera Festival. He has also been personally honored with the state-issued "Wenhua Stage Art Award," the "Outstanding Stage Art Award" at the First China Opera Festival, the "Society Award" from the Chinese Society of Stage Art, and the "Outstanding Stage Art Award" at the Art Troupe Exhibition of the Ministry of Culture.
