SonArt Quartet

Τhe SonArt Quartet was founded in 1998 by musicians with extensive soloist experience from various parts of Europe. With many years of professional experience behind them, the SonArt Quartet has appeared at major events such as the Ljubljana Festival, the Craiova Musical Festival – Oltenia Philharmonic Craiova, the Summer Music Festival – Bucharest City Hall, the Vacan_e Muzicale International Festival – Piatra Neam_, and Sibiu – Sibiu European Capital of Culture 2007, as well as in prestigious venues such as the Romanian Athenaeum, the Teatro Massimo Bellini, and many others.
For the concert within the Megaron Summer Festival, the SonArt Quartet will feature the violinist Liviu Neagu-Gruber, Lucian Moraru on viola, and cellist Oren Shevlin — artists from Germany, Romania and England and on this occasion, they will perform in a piano quartet formula, this time, they are joined by the renowned Franco-German classical pianist Florence Millet, Professor of Piano and Director of the campus Wuppertal, Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln.
