Alfredo Zamarra is one of the most distinguished Italian violists. As longtime principal violist of the Teatro La Fenice in Venice and a regular guest at La Scala in Milan, he is internationally in demand as a soloist and chamber musician. He has performed with artists such as Salvatore Accardo, Beatrice Rana, and the Quartetto di Cremona. Since 2024, he has been Professor of Viola at the “F.A. Bonporti” Conservatory in Trento.
