Alexandra Chatzopoulou-Saia

Alexandra Chatzopoulou-Saias studied Optic and Optometry in Agio (Greece) and acting at the National Theatre of Northern Greece in Thessaloniki. She works both in her family business as an optician and as an actress. She has performed in Thessaloniki (“Our town”, “Une Saison en Enfer“), Athens (“Peppas dream”) and starred in the movie “Bad Start” (2016). In 2023, she premiered the production “96%”, directed by Prodromos Tsinikoris. The production has been presented so far at the National Theatre of Northern Greece in Thessaloniki, and in Madrid, Oberhausen, Sofia and Varna and explores the history of Thessaloniki and its Sephardic community in the Shoah.
