Violin
Łukasz Górewicz - violinist, composer and occasional conductor. Finalist of the International Zbigniew Seifert Violin Competition in Kraków. He has been active in the field of music for over twenty years, possessing a wealth of artistic experience and an absolute ear. Over the years, he has collaborated with numerous ensembles and orchestras - from large symphonic ensembles to chamber ensembles and duos. He moves freely in a variety of styles: from classical and film music to jazz avant-garde and hip-hop. He has given concerts on many renowned stages in Poland and abroad. He is a creator of theatre music and co-creator of film music. He has also appeared as a session musician on numerous albums by artists such as Tymon Tymański, Katarzyna Nosowska, Marcin Macuk, Tomasz Gwinciński, Ecstasy Project, Baltic Neopolis Orchestra, Maestro Trytony, Oczi Cziorne or Marek Dyjak. Łukasz Górewicz is fluent in more than ten instruments, which allows him to realise his own artistic and multimedia projects, such as: Freedom Symphony - A Tribute to Solidarity, the opening ceremony of the Olympic Swimming Pool in Szczecin, Hello World - Poland's first 3D mapping with live music, and Children of the Breakthrough - Story of the Uncommon. In his artistic work, he is constantly looking for new, original sounds, combining the tradition of classical music with modern forms of expression. He has been a member of the Baltic Neopolis Quartet since 2008.
