Giorgos Georgiadis
Double bass
He was born in Athens in 1969.
He studied electric bass with G. Facanas and classical doublebass with T. Kapogiannis at F. Nakas and Orfeio Conservatory.
He has cooperated with the most of the Greek jazz artists and with a lot of jazzmen from abroad recording and playing live. He is a member of the Athens Big Band. He also teaches bass and jazz music at the Lab Music Education in Athens.
He has 4 personal projects Taxidi, Kathimerinotita, Standards and Iliotropia.
