Music Ensemble
“SAX NOUVEAU” is a musical ensemble, motivated for more than a decade by the approach to musical art and his basic tool is the saxophone family.
The repertoire of “SAX NOUVEAU” extends across many musical genres. The characteristics of the instrument allow the ensemble to move easily among various music styles such as jazz, blues, funky and classical. It systematically seeks to create new repertoire by Greek composers.
“SAX NOUVEAU”, within a short period of time, have participated in various important cultural events including the Olympus Festival, “Dimitria”, “SKG Bridges“ (Municipality of Thessaloniki), “Thessaloniki Differently” and “The Port Diffrently”, at the “Balkan Square”, at the 1st Panhellenic and Pancyprian Saxophone Meeting in Volos, 4th Panhellenic Saxophone Meeting in Larissa and at the festivals “ANAKATA”, “Oneiroupoli” in Drama, “The Mill of the Elves” in Trikala, “KOTH Underground” of the Thessaloniki State Orchestra, “Ta Mathimata Diffrently” KOTH forum, “Olympic Sax Festival”, as well as in important cultural venues such as the Thessaloniki Concert Hall, the Genti Koule, the Roman Agora, the Byzantine Museum and the “Vafopouleio Foundation”.
Finally, he has participated in the international saxophone festival of Belgrade “BELGRADE SAXPIRIENCE”, in the “Worship Music” festival of the Opera House and in the Olympic Sax Festival 2025.
