Emilia Goch Salvador is a distinguished violist, artistic director, and cultural entrepreneur. She is the founder and director of the Baltic Neopolis Orchestra, a renowned string chamber ensemble established in 2008. Under her leadership, the orchestra has gained national and international recognition, performing at prestigious festivals and venues across Europe and Asia.
A graduate of the Ignacy Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań, where she studied under Prof. Dominik Rutkowski, Emilia has built a remarkable career as both a soloist and a chamber musician. She has collaborated with esteemed artists such as Bartłomiej Nizioł, Vasko Vassilev, Carmine Lauri, Tomasz Tomaszewski, Sandor Javorkai, Kevin Kenner, Roman Jabłoński, and Maria Machowska.
Her chamber music journey includes partnerships with leading ensembles, including the Deutsche Oper Solisten, Covent Garden Soloists, Symphony Orchestra of India, the V4 – Visegrad Quartet, and the Prussian Chamber Orchestra. She has performed at prestigious venues in India, Norway, Estonia, Germany, Denmark, the Czech Republic, Greece, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, and the Philippines.
In 2016, Emilia joined the Guimarães String Quartet, performing regularly across Europe and Asia. Since 2019, she has been conducting masterclasses for viola players in her hometown of Szczecin and in Guimarães, Portugal. She is also the founder and artistic director of major international music festivals, including Szczecin Classic and Music West Fest, both dedicated to fostering classical music appreciation and education.
Her contributions to the arts have earned her numerous accolades, including the prestigious Fryderyk Award in 2015.
