Anastasios Symeonidis

Conductor
He was born in Athens in 1972. After he has completed his studies in superior theory of music, in piano (National Music School), in musicology (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens - Department of Music Studies) and in the orchestra’s conducting, (Musik Academie Wien, Academie Lyrique Paris) he is doing his first steps as conductor's assistant in the Athens' Choir and the National Youth Symphonic Orchestra. In 2002 he is named artistic director of the Athens Choir. In 2003 he is named permanent arch musician of the Zografos Municipality Symphonic Orchestra.
In 2008 he takes the place of the conductor in Greek Turkish Youth Orchestra near Vladimir Ashkenazy.   He has performed in a lot of concerts with works of the classical repertoire as well as with works of Greek composers in Athens Concert Hall, Greek National Opera, Thessalonica Concert Hall, Settembre Musica Festival Milano, Torino, Smetana Hall Prague, Bucharest, Istanbul etc. He has conducted the Athens State Symphony Orchestra, Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra, Camerata of the friends of Music- Megaron Resident Orchestra, Istanbul State Symphony Orchestra, Bacau Symphony Orchestra, San Remo Symphony Orchestra, Bucharest Radio Symphony Orchestra, North Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, Ploiesti Symphony Orchestra, Cyprus State Symphony Orchestra etc. 
From 2016 until 2019 he was the Artistic Director of Music Ensembles of Hellenic Radio and TV (ERT Symphony Orchestra, Contemporary Music Orchestra and Chorus).
