Tiziano Palladino

Tiziano Palladino was born on May 26, 1987 in Campobasso (Italy). He attended Conservatory “Niccolò Piccinni" in Bari and he graduated in Mandolin at the age of 18 years old. He studied mandolin with teacher Mauro Squillante. At the age of 21 years old he graduated in Double Bass at Conservatory “Lorenzo Perosi” in Campobasso. In 2012 he obtained, with honours, degree in Chamber Music. He won many international competitions. Among the most important the 1st Price in “Raffaele Calace Competition of Solo Mandolin” (2006) and the "Premio Nazionale delle Arti" sponsored by AFAM/MIUR (2011).
He is the founder of “Accademia Mandolinistica Molisana”, “Duo Idilliaco” with accordionist Angelo Miele, “14 Strings Duo” with guitarist Isidoro Nugnes. He collaborated with the “Accademia Mandolinistica Napoletana”, the “Orchestra a Plettro Domenico Manfredi”, the “Orchestra Regionale del Molise”, the “Orchestra Sinfonica Molisana”, the “Orchestra Nazionale dei Conservatori Italiani”, the “Molifonie” group.
Very important is the collaboration with the actress Licia Maglietta for the theatrical plays L’isola di Arturo, written by Elsa Morante, Il difficile mestiere di vedova, written by Silvana Grasso and Amati enigma, written by Clotilde Marghieri.
He recorded many CDs. Whit the music label Ma.Ni.Music he recorded Tiziano Palladino plays Giuseppe Pettine, entirely played for solo mandolin, Together, Mandolini all’Opera, I Pletrri and others.
He performed over 600 concerts all over the world becoming constantly appreciated for his versatility, his virtuosity and the particular sensibility that mark every performance. He made many tours. The most memorable were in Canada in the years 2013 and 2016 and in USA where he showed also at New York International Mandolin Festival. In the same year (2016), he played at the Italian Institute of Culture in Warsaw, Madrid and Istanbul for the project “Suono Italiano” organized by CIDIM.
He is mandolin and double bass teacher at the Music High School "Galanti" in Campobasso.
