Federico Albanese

Federico Albanese is an artist who creates contemporary minimalistic instrumental neo-classical music which simultaneously sounds cutting edge and experimental. Having this in mind he can be easily compared to Max Richter or Ludovico Einaudi. His ethereal and cinematic sound combines various elements of classical music with pop culture. Adding all those up it is easy to understand what makes him so special.
Piano is the basic instrument for his compositions. Having written music for various films and cinematic projects, Albanese won the international music community with his personal album on Denovali records titled The Houseboat and The Moon which has been described as “pure gold” and one of the most significant modern classical albums of the recent years. It is with his new LP in 2016 titled Blue Hour on Berlin Classics though that he has given confirmation of his enormous talent moving one step beyond.
