Paul Triepels

Paul Triepels is a teacher in the field of Breath-Voice-Movement. After his musicologystudies at the University of Utrecht, he studied singing with Maria Acda, Meinard Kraak, Gwendolyn Killebrew and Margreet Honig. From 1990 until 2002 he was trained by Petra Bodnik as a breath teacher according the method “The perceptible Breath” of Ilse Middendorf.
He works as Bodyteacher for singers at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris, Hochschuhle für Musik Basel, Schola Cantorum Basiliensis and the Prins Claus Conservatorium in Groningen. As a singingteacher he works at the Musique Sacrée à Notre Dame de Paris. He gave a lot of workshops at he musicschools and consevatories of Leipzig, Zwickau, The Hague, Hamburg, Linz and Santiago de Chile, often and since a long time in coöperation with Margreet Honig.
Further he teaches in his own Studio for Breath and Voice in his hometown Nijmegen.
