Angela Ahiskal
Soprano
American soprano Angela Ahıskal has sung roles with ensembles including Connecticut Lyric Opera, Simsbury Light Opera Co. and Connecticut Concert Opera. She has appeared as soloist with ensembles such as the Cheektowaga Orchestra, Orchard Park Chorale, Istanbul European Choir, Ahıskal Baroque Ensemble and the Bilkent Symphony Orchestra. Ahıskal has given numerous recitals throughout Turkey in venues such as the Presidential Symphony Hall and Ergin Orbey Hall. This season she will be giving recitals in Istanbul, Izmir, Ankara and Minho and appearing with the Eskişehir Symphony Orchestra. Ahıskal is a graduate of the performance programs at SUNY Buffalo and MIAM (Istanbul). She has been living in Turkey since 2005 and is currently on the Opera Department Voice Faculty of the Ankara University State Conservatory.
