Anatolia College Alumni Association Choir

The Anatolia College Alumni Association Choir was established in 1997. Its founding members were alumni who had participated in the School’s Choir under its unforgettable director Tassos Pappas during their student years.
The Choir consists of 50 members, male and female, graduates and non-graduates. Its past conductors were Lazarus Delidimos (1997-2000) and Mary Constantinidou (2000-2009) whereas from September 2009 its present conductor is Gianna Athanasiadou-Papaioannou.
The mission of the Choir is to participate mainly in events organized by worthy organizations. At the same time, it participates in School events and in organized festivals both in Greece and abroad. Among its noteworthy appearances in Greece are: The Week of Devotional Music (1998), the Simi Festival (2001), The Thessaloniki OTE Festival (2002-2003), The Thessaloniki “Dimitria” Festival (2002,2004,2006,2007), the Thessaloniki Concert Hall(2003,2004,2005,2006), the Athletics Festival (2005), the Athens Concert Hall(2009), the 10th Chorale Meeting of the Municipality of Mikra (2010) and Saint Sophia Church in Thessaloniki (2011). International appearances include: Boston(U.S.A.), Instanbul, Chorale Festival of Prague, Chorale Festival of Tuscany, the 9th International Chorale Festival of Salzburg, Chorale Festival of Vienna, European Chorale Festival of Lemesol (Cyprus) and International Choir Festival “Antonio Vivaldi (Gabrovo).
