149 - TRIBUTE IN MEMORY OF THE CHORTIATIS HOLOCAUST

149 is a dance show accompanied by orchestra and was created by the dance group Krama Project Dance Group and the orchestra JoveNata Ensemble, in collaboration with Bloom Theatre Group.
The work was created on the occasion of the Chortiatis Holocaust, which took place on September 2, 1944. The number 149 represents the dreary number that left its imprint in the history of the village and encompasses the dreams, senses and bodies of the lives lost.
149 is dedicated to those who live their life clasping onto their memories, who remember their people and who find the strength to move forward.
