Angela Meade débuts as Semiramide in a great performance brought back to the stage by the Metropolitan Opera after 25 years. The performance is conducted by Maurizio Benini, starring Elizabeth DeShong as Arsace, Commander of the Assyrian Army, Javier Camarena as Indian king Idreno, Ildar Abdrazakov as the prince Assur, and Ryan Speedo Green as the high priest Oroe.
