The duo Vakarelis - Mogensen join forces in a lot of genres. From contemporary works written for the unusual combination of instruments to their own arrangements of well-known classical compositions by such composers as Cesar Franck, Igor Stravinsky and Astor Piazzolla. The two instruments together create atmospheres and soundscapes that is at one time orchestral but also very intimate. Through their different backgrounds they have a common ability and interest in exploring new sonorities and sounds that constantly surprises the listener.
