Yang Yang

He graduated from the Conducting Department of the Central Conservatory of Music, studying under the tutelage of the renowned conductor and President of the Central Conservatory of Music, Professor Yu Feng. In 2006, he won the first prize with indisputable superiority at the Dimitri Mitropoulos International Conducting Competition held in Greece. As one of the most active conductors in China, he maintains close collaborative relationships with all the mainstream symphony orchestras and opera houses in the country. Additionally, he has successfully made his mark with numerous orchestras and opera houses in Germany, France, Italy, and other countries. He founded the Hangzhou Philharmonic Orchestra and established the Hangzhou International Music Festival. Currently, he serves as the Music Director and Chief Conductor of the China National Opera House, as well as the Artistic Director and Chief Conductor of the Hangzhou Philharmonic Orchestra.
