Andrea Nolte

Studied architecture, stage Design and graphics at Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weißensee, North Carolina State University, USA and get her master of stage design and costume design at Technische Universität Berlin. In 1995 she won the Rudolf-Müller-Price for architecture.
Since then she worked for theatres, film („Goldjunge“). and TV productions („Banküberfall“, SAT 1). She was Assistant of Es Devlin (Bühnenbild) at Gran Teatre del Liceu, Barcelona and at Oper Leipzig. At Neuköllner Oper she was responsible for various productions: Major Dux (2007. stage director: Volker Schmidt), Piraten (2008. stage director:Andreas Gergen) Peer lügt! (2010. stage director:Volker Schmidt). The same year she designed the venues of Open Op, the european festival for alternative Opera in Berlin.
