REWORKS AGORA 2018: THOSE, WHO DARE

T.C.H. IN COOPERATION WITH THE REWORKS FESTIVAL
Reworks Agora is a one-day cross-theme and versatile forum that presents central speakers, discussions, musical performances and screenings by top experts and pioneers in creative economy, culture, technology and contemporary thought.  The “agora” in ancient Greece was a meeting place where free citizens discussed and found solutions to important issues, and that is the exact goal of Reworks Agora today. To be the part that uses front-loaded thought to approach a vision of the future on creativity, in which the public will discover emerging subjects, initiatives, and artists that inspire and provoke dialogue and developments for the future growth of the culture of tomorrow, with a contemporary outlook and horizon.
The 3rd Reworks Agora will host guest speakers from Greece and abroad to present initiatives and projects in music and culture, technology, digital culture, and cultural entrepreneurship, that are shaping the future of the cultural ecosystem. The event is part of the ‘We Are Europe’ European programme, and will co-present - in cooperation with internationally established forums Sonar +D(Barcelona, Spain), C/O Pop (Cologne, Germany), and Today’s Art (Hague, Holland) - programmes that have been specially designed for the event.
A special concert will be presented in the first part of Reworks Agora. The Grandbrothers will appear in Thessaloniki for the first time. They are one of the most key and important new contemporary classical music groups, together with the Symphony Orchestra of the Municipality of Thessaloniki, in a special piece for Reworks Agora in its first world presentation.
