During her recital, Wiktoria takes us on a journey to Spanish musical paths, filled with passion, energy and a touch of sweet melancholy. The scene comprises enchanting trails of Andalusia, coloured landscapes with toreadors, gypsies, fiestas as well as mourning songs and expressive Spanish flamencos.
The recital programme contains popular works by Gaspar Sanz, the famous baroque guitarist and composer, by Isaac Albéniz, famous Spanish pianist and composer (numerous of his piano pieces have been transcribed for the guitar, making a significant repertory for this instrument), byFrancisco Tárrega, a major Spanish guitarist and composer and by Joaquín Turina, Federico Mompou, Regino Sainz de la Maza, and the world-acclaimed Joaquín Rodrigo, one of the most important Spanish composers of the 20th century.
