Omar Faruk Tekbilek is one of the most beloved musicians in Greece, one of the greatest ambassadors of oriental music, a charismatic musician who plays the ney, baglama, oud and percussion. His music is deeply rooted in tradition and greatly influenced by modern musical styles. He is inspired by mysticism, tradition, romance and imagination. He views himself as a messenger of peace and aims at working with musicians from various countries. The diversity of his music makes him one of a kind.
