With the internationally acknowledged Evanthia Reboutsika as a guest, the Thessaloniki Concert Hall commences a series of commemorative events to mark the 100th anniversary of the Asia Minor Catastrophe.
The award-winning composer will take the audience on an imaginary trip In the Streets of Smyrna, with a concert dedicated to the "roots" of Hellenism in Asia Minor. This specific performance will prompt a series of events designed and held by the Organization of the Thessaloniki Concert Hall entitled "100 years of Memory".
The concert In the Streets of Smyrna is characterized by nostalgia, romanticism and melodic lyricism, since the music of Evanthia Reboutsika comes to wander the audience in the "lost paradise", as described by many writers, of the metropolis of Hellenism in Asia Minor.
