SOPHIA MITROPOULOU - ARMANDO PUKLAVEC: TRAGOEDIA AMORIS (THE TRAGEDY OF LOVE)

Tragedy of Love is a musical journey through the world of operatic costumes. Ten tragic protagonists from the most well known operatic love stories from great composers come to life, through the unique performances of internationally renowned, opera singers Sophia Mitropoulou and Armando Puklavec.
At the same time, there is a presentation of the “image” of the tragic heroes, as they appeared in specific performances in Thessaloniki over the last 23 years, through their costumes, worn by mannequins, providing viewers with the opportunity to see and admire the detail and excellent aesthetic taste in their design and execution up close - an opportunity not often afforded to audiences due to the distance between the stage and the seats.
A narrator will lead us on this journey, presenting each work separately.
